The Brothers Islands in the heart of the Red Sea offer some of the most spectacular diving in the world they offer walls, reefs and wrecks. Two small islands not much larger than a football field rise from the depth of 600 Meters. The walls are covered with rich and colorful coral of every color. The reef is home to a big variety of Red Sea fish from tiny clown fish to big tunas, as well as pelagic predators such as grey reef sharks, oceanic white tip and the ever elusive Thresher shark. The Brothers Islands also offer some of the most spectacular wreck dives in the Red Sea the “Aida” and the vertical wreck the “Numidia”. In this video the divers jump in the south side of the island and approach the Aida wreck from below at around 65 meters. Then scooter around the reef to the north tip where they descend to 85 meters below the vertical wreck of the Numidia to check out the propeller area. On the way up the wreck the divers start the penetration of the wreck during the ascent passing over the boiler into the engine room as they decompress. Finally the divers exit the wreck at around 20 meters and start the 1 kilometer scooter run back to the boat. Keep in mind this entire video was shot on one dive with a hand held big HD camera with a big underwater housing and lights. You can see it in high quality or youtube quality below. Enjoy….
