Other than the bad decompression properties of air diving, the intoxication or narcosis is the greatest danger. Scooters are great tools for exploration style diving and fun diving alike. A diver should have great understanding and control of a scooter in order to make it safe to use especially on the big dives. On the way back from the safari to Rocky Island & Zabargad, we did the last dive of the trip at Sha'ab Sharm, and after everyone was back on the boat Faisal, Mo and I decided to jump in with the scooters for a little play around! As you can probably see, it was a great deal of fun, hitting the scooter triggers with your toes and using your body for the direction. Definitely an entertaining way to end the trip! Video below. |
